What does Haldor do? ›

Haldor is a character found in Black Forest. He is a Dwarf trader wearing a brown cloak, a gold belt and cape. At his camp, Haldor sells several unique items that can be purchased if the buyer has a sufficient amount of Coins and world progression.

The Merchant can be very hard for some players to find in Valheim. Much like the second Forsaken boss, The Elder, Haldor can only be found inside the Black Forest biome. There are several different places where Haldor can spawn in each Valheim map, just like the bosses and their Mystical Altars.

Hildir is a character found in Meadows. Like her brother, Haldor, she is a Dvergr. She wears a red and white dress, a green and red necklace and a headband. At her camp, which was recently raided, Hildir sells several unique items that can be purchased for Coins.

Thankfully, the process of narrowing down Haldor can be made just a little easier, as he will only ever spawn in the Black Forest biome. This is the same area that the game will eventually encourage you to explore after defeating the first boss, Eikthyr.

This trader, Haldor, is available to both buy and sell items with the player. The trader only has a couple of items to sell to players but each one is fairly useful. This includes the Yule Hat, Dverger Circlet, Meginjord, Ymir Flesh, Fishing Rod, and the Fishing Rod bait. Each item helping with different things.

As you may imagine, there are hundreds of spawnable items in Valheim. WARNING: Haldor the Merchant will spawn approximately one foot off the ground and cannot be removed from your game afterwards.

One seed that has been discovered with a guaranteed merchant not too far from the spawn location is 42069lolxd. If you head south-east from the spawn point, follow the coast, then cross into the Black Forest, you should find Haldor nearby on your map.

Moder is a dragon having the typical appearance of a Wyvern, this is apparent due to both the eggs being dragon eggs, and her tears being dragon tears. Once summoned, Moder's aura will pause or stop ongoing snowstorms.

1) Gjall. Gjall are huge flying creatures found in the Mistlands of Valheim. They have the highest hit points of 1500 and can deal blunt and fire damage. These creatures are immune to spirit, stagger, and resistant to fire damage.

Haldor has multiple spawn points on the map, but once you find him, all other locations will no longer apply. This means that once you find the merchant, he will always appear in that same spot. Drop a portal near him, so you don't have to travel that far to buy or sell things to him.

Hildir and Haldor are a pair of dwarf merchants in Valheim. The former can be found in a Meadows biome, while the latter can be found in a Black Forest. Both spawn decently far from the world's center (especially Hildir) and both sell a variety of wares.

The Valheim merchant, Haldor, is an important person to find. He's your only source of resources like Ymir Flesh, Fishing Bait, and plenty more. While this is a game mostly about making your own way, if you want to make significant progress in Valheim, you will have to pay Haldor the merchant a visit.
